THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.23023 of 2013 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed challenging G.O.Ms.No.304, PR & RD (Pts.IV) Department, dated 29.06.2013 and the consequential order in G.O.Ms.No.300 of MA & UD (Elec.I) Department dated 29.06.2013 for upgrading Gram Panchayats into Nagar Panchayats.

Initially, the writ petition was dismissed vide orders dated 02.06.2014. Later a review petition was filed and the same was allowed vide orders dated 22.07.2014. The same was carried in the appeal vide W.A.No.1199/2014 and the same was allowed on 27.11.2014, remanding back to the learned single Judge for disposal afresh. After remand, this Court vide orders dated 10.12.2014 passed interim orders in WPMP.No.47170 of 2014.

At this stage, the learned counsel for the petitioners submits that G.O.Ms.Nos.304 and 300 dated 29.06.2013, which are impugned in the present writ petition have been cancelled by issuing G.O.Ms.Nos.22 and 44, dated 14.02.2015, and hence the present writ petition has become infructuous as no cause survives for consideration.

Recording the above submission, the Writ Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No order as to costs.
