HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.18981 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking issuance of Mandamus declaring the action of respondent Nos.2 and 3 in not taking steps to complete the investigation in FIR.No.9 of 2016 pending in the 3rd respondent Police Station inspite of oral and written representations dated 21.03.2016 made by the petitioner, as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to the procedure contemplated under Section 173 of Cr.P.C. and consequently sought a direction to the 3rd respondent to complete the investigation in FIR.No.9 of 2016 and take further steps.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Home.

Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a direction may be given to the 3rd respondent to complete the investigation in FIR.No.9 of 2016 and file a final report at the earliest.

Having regard to the facts in issue and without going into the merits of the case, this writ petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to complete the investigation

in FIR.No.9 of 2016 of Yerpedu Police Station, Yerpedu, Chittoor District, at the earliest, and file a final report in the matter, in accordance with law. No order as to costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
