Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Revenue for respondents. 2.

Petitioner claims to be the widow of Ex-Central Freedom Fighter by name Kolluri Rajamallu. Petitioner is now aged about 90 years. Petitioner claims that as per the scheme formulated by the Government vide G.O.Ms.No.185 Revenue (ASSN-I) Department dated 11.03.1997, she is entitled to allotment of house plot to a maximum extent of 300 Square yards and agriculture land as the wife of ex-freedom fighter, whereas the house plot is not allotted so far. It appears her husband died in the year 2002. A representation was made on 20.07.2019 and reminder on 06.08.2019 to the District Collector, Warangal (Urban).

In view thereof, without expressing any opinion on merits, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the District Collector Warangal District (Urban) to consider the claim of petitioner as ventilated in her representations and assess whether she is entitled for such allotment and pass appropriate orders as warranted by law. The said decision shall be taken and communicated to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
