THE HON'BLE DR. JUSTICE B. SIVA SANKARA RAO CRL.P.MP.Nos.6984 AND 6985 OF 2017 IN/AND CRIMINAL PETITION No.6762 OF 2017 COMMON ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner - accused No.2 of C.C.No.3 of 2016 on the file of Metropolitan Sessions Judge at Nampally, Hyderabad, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420 and 406 I.P.C. and Section 5 of A.P. Protection of Depositors of Financial Establishments Act, and perused the grounds urged in the quash petition, First Information Report and Charge Sheet.

2. Both parties present and stated that they settled the matter amicably outside the Court and vide Crl.P.MP.Nos.6984 and 6985 of 2017 sought permission to compound the offences and prayed to record the compromise and quash the proceedings.

3. Accordingly, permission is granted to compound the offences.

4. In the result, Crl.P.MP.Nos.6984 and 6985 of 2017 are allowed. Consequently, the Criminal Petition is also allowed quashing the proceedings in C.C.No.3 of 2016 on the file of Metropolitan Sessions Judge at Nampally, Hyderabad, against the petitioner - accused No.2. The petitioner - accused No.2 is acquitted and the bail bonds of the petitioner - accused No.2, if any, shall stand cancelled.

5. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
