This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking to declare the notification, dated 20.8.2008, in Rc.No.B/1395/2007 issued by respondent No.1 for appointment of Fair Price Shop Dealer in Narasampet Division, Warangal District as illegal and arbitrary and consequently, direct the respondents to issue fresh notification for appointment of Fair Price Shop Dealer duly reserving Shop No.34 of Narasampet Village, Narasampet Mandal, Warangal District in favour of B.C. (General).

Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.

Taking into consideration the subsequent developments and bifurcation of the districts in the state of Telangana and also the changes in the mandals, the notification, dated 20.8.2008, in Rc.No.B/1395/2007 issued by respondent No.1 is set aside and respondent No.1 is directed to issue a fresh notification and proceed with the appointment of Fair Price Shop Dealers. 4.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
