CVNR, J WP 3841/2013 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed for the following substantive relief: "...to issue a writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondent in proposing to deduct the crop insurance premium from the crop loan amounts released and to be released to the petitioners at the rate of 1% to 12% towards the crop insurance premium for the Khariff and Rabi seasons 2012-2013 without the consent of the petitioners as illegal, arbitrary and violative of Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and apart from being violative of principles of natural justice and consequently direct the respondent not to insist upon the petitioners to pay the insurance premium on the loans advanced and to be advanced to them."

At the hearing, Mr. Naga Praveen Vankayalapati, learned counsel for the petitioners, submitted that the writ petition has become infructuous.

The writ petition is accordingly dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel to dismissal of the writ petition, interim order passed by this Court on 08.02.2013 in W.P.M.P.
