HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.14715 OF 2018 O R D E R :

The grievance of the petitioners is that they are working as Technical Work Inspector on temporary basis for long time in the 2nd respondent organization; that though, they are performing work on par with regular employees, they are not being paid minimum time scale of pay attached to the post of Technical Work Inspector in terms of the Judgment rendered by the Supreme Court in case of State of Punjab v. Jagjit singh (Civil Appeal No.213 of 2013), reported in 2017 (1) SCC 148. As such, the petitioners submitted representation dated 28.02.2018. As the same is not being disposed of, present writ petition is filed. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and Sri A.Yadava Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for 2nd respondent.

In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances, since the grievance of the petitioners is already been pending before the 2nd respondent, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 28.02.2018 for grant of minimum time scale of pay in terms of the aforesaid Judgment rendered by the Supreme Court in case of State of Punjab v. Jagjit singh. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
