2. Petitioner states that his wife Smt. C. Anila had been working as fair price shop dealer for Shop No.17, Nagsanpally Village, Bantwaram Mandal, Ranga Reddy District since 2009 and she expired due to ill health on 24.09.2014. Petitioner, therefore, made an application dated 09.10.2104 to the second respondent requesting that he be appointed as fair price shop dealer for the said shop on compassionate grounds in terms of G.O.Ms.No.4 dated 28.02.2014. The second respondent appears to have called for a report from the Tahsildar on 11.12.2014 and though the said report is stated to have been already submitted, the second respondent has not passed any orders. Hence, the present writ petition is filed questioning inaction on the part of the respondents.

3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Civil Supplies, appearing for the respondents, states that appropriate decision will be taken by the second respondent at the earliest. However, learned Assistant Government Pleader submits that the application of the petitioner appears to be unsigned.

4. If that be so, the petitioner is at liberty to submit a fresh application in continuation of his earlier application and on such application being received, the second respondent shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders, expeditiously. The writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. _____________________
