Petitioners pray for Mandamus declaring the action of third respondent in issuing notification vide proceedings B2/ 3617/ 2016 dated 24.09.2016 making permanent appointment to fair price shops stated in the notification as illegal and arbitrary. 2.
Learned counsel for petitioners requests the Court to permit the petitioners to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to appear in the selection process undertaken pursuant to the notification impugned in the writ petition.

Petitioners if appear, their cases may be considered along with eligible applicants.
