ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking the following relief - "....to issue a Writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ or Mandamus declaring the action of the respondent interdicting the premium from the crop loans towards the crop insurance to be advanced to the Members of petitioners societies at the rate of 2.5% in the case of sugar cane out of the loan amount in accordance with the circular in NAIS: NOTIF : KH 2004 ; 775;04, dt. 275-2004 as illegal, arbitrary and capricious and violative of the article 14 of the constitution of India and in the alternative to direct the respondent not to insist upon the payment of premium towards the crop insurance out of the loan amount to be disbursed to the Members of petitioners societies and set aside the above said circular, and pass such other or further order or orders as deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case..."

It is submitted by both the learned counsel that this writ petition is squarely covered by the orders passed by this Court in W.P.No.2857 of 2009 dated 5.11.2015.

In as much as the writ petition relates to rebate that is sought to be deducted for the crop year 2008-2009 and considering the fact that pending disposal of the writ petition this Court by order dated 13.02.2009 directed the respondents not to deduct the crop insurance premium from the crop loans released and to be released to the petitioners, no further orders need to be passed in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
