HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 15216 of 2005 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not regularizing the services of the petitioners as Driver Grade-II, as illegal and arbitrary. A consequential direction is also sought to the respondents not to disengage the petitioners time and again.

While admitting the writ petition, this Court directed the respondents to continue the petitioners as Drivers vide orders dated 22.07.2005 in WPMP No.19347 of 2005.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in view of the interim orders passed by this Court, the petitioners were permitted to continue in service and hence no further orders are necessary in the writ petition. In view of the said submission, the writ petition is closed. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed.
