ORDER

It is the case of the petitioner that he has been working under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme. Vide proceedings of the 3rd respondent - Project Director dated 26.07.2017, he was terminated alleging certain irregularities. Challenging the same, he preferred appeal before the 2nd respondent - the District Collector, District Programme Coordinator, SPSR Nellore District vide Appeal dated 23.08.2017.. Aggrieved by the action of the 2nd respondent in not passing interim orders in the appeal filed by the petitioner, the present writ petition is filed.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development for respondents 1 & 2, Sri M.S.R.Chandra Murthy, learned Standing Counsel for the 3rd respondent and Sri G.Sheshadri learned counsel for the 4th respondent. Since the appeal filed by the petitioner is stated to be pending, without expressing any opinion on merits, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
