THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO ORDER:
Petitioner claims that he is the owner and in possession of land to an extent of Acres 2.30 cents in Survey No.674/2 of Remidicherla Village, Bollapalli Mandal, Guntur District. According to the petitioner, applications were made on 20.12.2016 and 10.07.2017 to conduct survey in respect of the above schedule property to the District Collector, but so far no action is taken.

According to the petitioner, on 10.07.2017, application in prescribed proforma was made, but, so far no action is taken. Endorsement at Ex.P1 would show that an application was made to survey the subject land addressed to the Assistant Director, Survey and Settlement Records. Since application is already made, the Assistant Director, Survey and Settlement - 2nd respondent is directed to examine the claim of the petitioner to conduct survey and take appropriate decision as warranted by law and communicate the decision. If he is in agreement to conduct survey, he shall under take the exercise by following the due procedure as required by the A.P. Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923 and the instructions of Commissioner of Surveyor and Land Records, after giving due
opportunity to all the persons interested. The exercise shall be completed within two months.

Accordingly and with the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions pending consideration, if any, in this case shall stand closed in consequence. No order as to costs.
