This criminal petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.410 of 2011 on the file of the Special Judicial First Class Magistrate for Protection of Civil Rights. The petitioner is the sole accused in the said Calendar Case. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Public Prosecutor for the State.

Learned Public Prosecutor produced a letter dated 16.12.2017 addressed by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Subedari Police Station, Warangal District, stating that C.C.No.410 of 2011 on the file of the IV Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, Warangal has ended in acquittal. Considering the same, the question of seeking relief for quashing the proceedings in the said case has become infructuous. Hence, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
