THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 14810 OF 2018 O R D E R:

The allegation in the Writ Petition is that the respondents are threatening them without there being any crime registered against them.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. The learned Government Pleader for Home (AP) submits that he received written instructions from the 4th respondent-SubInspector of Police, Razole Police Station, he submits that on a complaint, dated 01.04.2018, received from the 6th respondent, a crime has been registered against the petitioners vide Crime No. 86 of 2018, for the offences under Sections 498-A, 323 r/w 34 IPC. It is only in connection with the said crime the inquiry is being held. In the light of the above facts, the Writ Petition is closed, leaving it open to the petitioners to work out their remedies as available under law. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall also stand closed.
