Rekha Madhu Suryanarayana, v. State Of Andhra Pradesh
THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.20644 of 2016 ORDER:
In this writ petition, the petitioner is questioning the action of the respondents-police in retaining and continuing rowdy sheet against the petitioner as arbitrary and illegal.
Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner confined his arguments to the extent of giving a direction to the police-respondents 2 to 4 to consider the representation to be filed by the petitioner for closing the rowdy sheet pending against the petitioner.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is directed to file a representation before the respondents 2 to 4 explaining the reasons for closing the rowdy sheet opened against him. On filing such representation, the respondents 2 to 4 are directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
Pending Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall stand closed. _________________ RAJA ELANGO,J 02.01.2017.
