THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY W .P.NOS.8 5 2 8 AND 8 5 9 4 OF 2 0 1 7 COMMON ORDER The present writ petitions have been filed aggrieved by the notices dated 29.8.2016 and 19.11.2016 respectively, issued by the 2nd respondent - Revenue Divisional Officer requiring the petitioners to show cause why penalty along with conversion fee shall not be levied , for putting the subject lands which are agricultural lands into non-agricultural purposes, without obtaining any permission as required under Section 3 of Andhra Pradesh Agricultural Land (Conversion for Non-Agricultural Purposes) Act, 2006. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue.

The impugned notices are only show cause notices. Normally this court will not interfere at the stage of show cause notice. As such, I do not see any reason to entertain the writ petition. Therefore, it is open for the petitioners to file explanations to the said notices raising all the objections that are raised herein, within a period of four weeks and thereupon, the 2nd respondent - Revenue Divisional Officer, shall consider the same pass final orders in accordance with law, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioners.
