Heard.

Dossier Criminal Sheet No.1721 was opened against the petitioner in terms of Police Standing Order No.894(2)(a). Earlier, the petitioner had approached this Court and filed W.P.No.2953 of 2003 with the similar grievance and the said writ petition was disposed of on 24-10-2003 giving liberty to the petitioner to make appropriate representation before the 2nd respondent herein and that the 2nd respondent was directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders within six weeks.

The present writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to close the said Dossier Criminal Sheet on the ground that even after making representation, as permitted by this court in the aforesaid writ petition, there is no response from any of the police authorities. As the Dossier Criminal Sheet is not yet closed, the petitioner has approached this Court. Learned Government Pleader has received instructions, which state that the Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad, has considered the petitioner's representation and by order, dated 02-03-2015, on finding that the petitioner is not involved in any criminal case after 2003, directed to close Dossier Criminal Sheet opened against the petitioner in terms of Police Standing Order referred to above. Copy of the proceedings of the Commissioner, dated 02-03-2015 is also produced.

In view of that, therefore, the 3rd respondent is bound to take appropriate steps in terms of the aforesaid order of the Commissioner and close Dossier Criminal Sheet opened against the petitioner. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
