Heard Sri K.Sai Rama Murthy, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development (A.P.) appearing for respondent No.1 and Sri Ravi Cheemalapati, learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondent No.2.

A counter-affidavit deposed by the District Panchayat Officer, Srikakulam is filed stating that the District Panchayat Officer, vide proceedings Rc.No.880/16 P5, dated 08.08.2017, issued orders restoring the cheque drawing power to the Sarpanch, Vasundhara Gram Panchayat, Meliaputti Mandal, Srikakulam District, as recommended by the Extension Officer, PR & RD, Meliaputti Mandal.

In view of the same, nothing survives for adjudication in the present writ petition.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
