JUSTICE G.ANUPAMA CHAKRAVARTHY CRIMINAL PETITION NO.4403 OF 2022 ORDER:- This petition is filed under Sections 437 and 439 Cr.P.C. seeking regular bail to the petitioner/A.4 in SC.No.22 of 2022 pending on the file of the Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Hyderabad, registered for the offence punishable under Section 8(c) read with 20(b)(ii)(C) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

The case of the prosecution is that on 08.07.2021 at about 1400 hours, the investigating officer seized 80 kgs. of ganja from the possession of the petitioner at the 4th floor of house bearing No.21-2-593 to 596, Ghansi Bazar, Chariminar, Hyderabad.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that A.1 and A.2 were already released on bail. He submitted that with the same conditions, the bail may be granted to the petitioner also.

On the other hand, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submits that entire investigation is completed and charge sheet was also filed.

Taking into consideration the fact that investigation was completed and charge sheet was also filed, this Court deems it appropriate to grant bail to the petitioner on conditions.

Accordingly, the criminal petition is allowed and the petitioner/A.4 shall be enlarged on bail in SC.No.22 of 2022 on the file of Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Hyderabad, on his executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand only) with two sureties for a like sum each to the satisfaction of the Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Hyderabad.
