This writ petition is filed challenging the action of the respondents in calling the petitioner and his family members to the police station and thereby interfering with the life and liberty of the petitioner. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions dt.13.08.2019 submitted by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Patancheru P.S., Sangareddy District. To the extent of their relevance to the present writ petition, the said instructions read as under:
" It is submitted that the allegations made by the petitioner that he and his family members were called to the police station on 08.06.2019 and other dates is false and denied herewith, as the respondent police never called to the petitioner nor his family members at any point of time. The further allegation made by the petitioner he and his family members were made to sit in the police station is also false and denied herewith. It is submitted that the petitioner anticipating that he would be made as an accused filed this present writ petition with false and frivolous allegations. It is submitted that till now the petitioner is not cited as accused in Crime No.284/2019."
In view of the aforesaid written instructions, recording the same, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent police not to interfere with the life and liberty of the petitioner, except in accordance with law. However, this order will not preclude the respondent police
from investigating into the aforesaid crime No.284/2019. No order as to costs.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
