ORDER

Challenging the order of removal dated 3.12.1997, the petitioner has filed I.D.No.177 of 2000, wherein no relief was granted to him. Questioning the same, the present writ petition is filed.

It is noticed that during pendency of the writ petition, the petitioner had expired and his legal representatives were brought on record vide order dated 5.2.2010 and hence, the relief of reinstatement sought by the petitioner cannot be granted.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondent-Corporation to give the service benefits of the petitioner for the service rendered by him prior to the date of removal, to his legal representatives, if not already paid, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
