HONOURABLE JUSTICE G. SRI DEVI CRIMINAL PETITION NO.6607 of 2021 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking quashing of the proceedings in C.C.No.1250 of 2018 on the file of the Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate at Sangareddy, against the petitioners/A.2 and A.3.

A charge sheet came to be filed against the petitioners for the offences punishable under Section 498-A of I.P.C. and Sections 4 and 6 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Though the present Criminal Petition is filed seeking quashing of entire proceedings, learned counsel for the petitioners restricts his prayer seeking to dispense with the presence of petitioners/A.2 and A.3 before the trial Court on every date of adjournment.

The learned Public Prosecutor submits that since the identity of petitioners/A.2 and A.3 is not in dispute, their presence in the above case may not be necessary on every date of adjournment.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the personal appearance of petitioners/A.2 and A.3 in C.C.No.1250 of 2018 on the file of the Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate at Sangareddy, is dispensed with except on the dates whenever their presence is specifically required by the Court. 6.
