Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents.

Petitioner claims that he belongs to schedule cast and is below the poverty line. Vide D-Form Patta bearing DR.No.4/97, dated 18.01.1988, the Government assigned agricultural land to the petitioner in Survey No.39/8 to an extent of Acres 0.74 cents, situated in Vedullanarava Village, Subbavaram Mandal, Visakhapatnam District and ever since, he has been in possession and cultivating the same. The petitioner made an application for mutation of his name in the revenue records and issuance of pattadar passbook and titile deeds, through mee-seva on 16.05.2017 and according to the petitioner, no action has been taken so far on the said representation.

Since it is contended by the petitioner that he made an application in Form VI-A to the Mandal Revenue Officer and the same is pending before him, the Mandal Revenue Officer, Sabbavaram Mandal, Visakhapatnam District, is directed to examine the claim of the petitioner as ventilated in his application and pass appropriate orders in accordance with
law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.
Accordingly and with the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions pending consideration, if any, in this case shall stand closed as consequence. No order as to costs.
