This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not absorbing the petitioners in the cadre of sub staff in the respondent bank, as illegal and arbitrary.

The submission of the petitioners is that they may be directed to submit a representation to the respondent bank seeking their absorption as sub staff and the respondent bank may be directed to consider their representation and pass appropriate orders. Having considered the submission of the petitioners, this Court is of the considered view that the writ petition can be disposed of directing the petitioners to submit a representation to the respondent bank seeking their absorption as sub staff, and upon receiving such representation, the respondent bank shall consider and pass appropriate orders thereon within four weeks thereafter. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed.
