THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.SUNIL CHOWDARY CRIMINAL PETITION No.4349 of 2017 ORDER:
This petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to quash the proceedings against the petitioners/accused No.1 and 2 in C.C. No.940 of 2015 (old C.C. No.332 of 2011) on the file of the Court of VI Metropolitan Magistrate, Medchal.

At the time of arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioners has sought direction to the trial court to dispose of C.C. No.940 of 2015 as early as possible. He further submitted that the presence of petitioner No.1/accused No.1 before the trial court may be dispensed with, as he is aged 66 years.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and also the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, the trial court is hereby directed to dispose of C.C. No.940 of 2015 expeditiously, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The trial court is further directed to dispense with the presence of the petitioner No.1/accused No.1 on each and every date of adjournment. However, he shall appear before the trial court as and when his presence is so required.

With the above directions, the criminal petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
