HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C.PRAVEEN KUMAR AND HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T. AMARNATH GOUD F.C.A. No.1 of 2008 JUDGMENT : (per the Hon'ble Sri Justice C.Praveen Kumar) Assailing the judgment, dated 07.12.2007, passed in FCOP No.426 of 2006 by the Family Court Judge, Hyderabad, wherein the petition filed against the respondents under Section 7 to 10 and 12 of Guardians and Wards Act, 1890, was dismissed, the present appeal came to be filed.

At the time when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner/ appellant submits that nothing survives for adjudication in the appeal, since the child who was aged ten years in the year 2007, has now attained the age of majority and hence no orders can be passed by this Court with regard to his custody. 3.
Heard and perused the records.

It is to be noted that the child has attained majority which is not in dispute. Hence no order granting custody can be passed, at this stage. Hence, nothing survives for adjudication in the appeal, which is filed challenging the dismissal of petition under Guardians and Wards Act, and accordingly, the F.C.A. is closed. No costs.
5. However, it is always open to the child, to choose the place where she wants to live.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall also stand closed.
