HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 9991 of 2004 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of mandamus declaring the proceedings dated 18.05.2004 issued by the respondents to the extent of re-categorising the petitioner from Attender to Shramik instead of promoting him, as illegal and arbitrary. A consequential direction is also sought to the respondents to continue the petitioner as Attender.

While admitting the writ petition, this Court directed the respondents to continue the petitioner as Attender, vide orders dated 21.06.2004 in WPMP No.12701 of 2004 which is made absolute vide orders dated 08.12.2004 in WVMP No.3123 of 2004. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the interim orders passed by this Court, no further orders are necessary in the writ petition. Learned standing counsel for the respondents has not disputed the same.

In view of the above, the writ petition is closed. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
