Heard counsel for the petitioner, the Government Pleader for Municipal Administration appearing for 1st respondent, and Sri T.Sudhakar Reddy, Standing Counsel appearing for respondents 2 to 4.

Petitioner had applied for water connection to a portion of the house bearing No.6-4-361/26/A2 in Krishna Nagar Colony, Bholakpur, Hyderabad and contends that her application has been rejected by the respondents 2 to 4 on the ground that it is not feasible.

Sri T.Sudhakar Reddy, Standing Counsel for respondents 2 to 4 states on instructions that the rejection of petitioner's application for providing water connection is on the ground that the premises of the petitioner forms part of an apartment complex but subsequently, on re-examination, it was realized that it was not an apartment complex and that the petitioner has purchased the property under registered sale deed dt.19.08.1984.

In the light of the said submissions, the respondents 2 to 4 are directed to consider petitioner's application for water supply connection made on 11.04.2018 within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order,

in accordance with law, and communicate their decision to the petitioner.

The Writ Petition is allowed as above. No order as to costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed.
