HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.19083 OF 2006 ORDER:

This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed by the petitioner to call for the records relating to the order, dated 25.07.2006, made in O.P. No.2 of 2005 on the file of the Junior Civil Judge, Nakrekal, Nalgonda District declaring the election of the petitioner to the post of the Territorial Committee Member of the Constituency 4 of Ramasamudram and Neelasamudram Saaguneeti Sangham of Madharam Kalan Village, Sahligouraram Mandal, Nalgonda District, as null and void and to quash the same. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record.

It is evident from the record that the election challenged by the petitioner pertains to the year 2005 and the term of office of the said Committee also expired and hence, any order now passed by this Court would not serve the purpose.

Therefore, the writ petition is disposed of as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
