HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO W.P.No.13583 of 2017

ORDER

Challenging the action of the 2nd respondent in interfering with the life and liberty of the petitioners and calling them to the police station frequently, the present writ petition is filed. Learned Government Pleader for Home, based on written instructions, submits that Cr.No.130 of 2017 was registered against the 1st petitioner for the offence punishable under Section 380 IPC and petitioners 2 to 4 are not required in connection with the said crime. The investigation so far done clearly discloses that the 1st petitioner had stolen the gold ornaments of the complainant and since from the date of registration of crime, he was absconding. Though the 1st petitioner knows very well about the stolen property, he filed the present writ petition only to escape the criminal acts.

In view of the said written instructions, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to complete the investigation pursuant to registration of Cr.No.130 of 2017, without harassing petitioners 2 to 4. No costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed. ___________________________________ JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO 20th April, 2017 rkk
