Heard both sides.

The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of Mandamus declaring the action of respondent Nos.2 and 3 in trying to interfere with the personal liberty of the petitioners by calling them to the police station in connection with Crime No.18 of 2017 of Mogalpura police station, Hyderabad, as illegal and arbitrary. 3.
At the time when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Government Pleader placed on record the written instructions which states as under:
" ...it is fact that Cr.No.56/ 16 for the offence under Section 363,376 and Section 5 of POCSO Act and Section 114 & 109 IPC was registered on the file of the 3rd respondent police station, basing on the complaint of the 4th respondent herein against one Boya Verendra & 6 others, wherein the petitioners herein were arrayed as Accused nos.4,6 & 7. During the course of investigation, as there was no evidence against the petitioners herein (Accused Nos.4, 6 & 7), their names were deleted and after completion of investigation, filed charge sheet against Boya Verendra (A1) & 4 others, (not the petitioners herein) on 16.02.2017 and the same is now pending vide S.C.No.92/ 2017 on the file of the Additional Sessions Judge Court, Ananthapuramu."

In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication in the writ petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. No costs.
CPK, J W.P.No.14596 of 2017 As a sequel thereto, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
