Petitioner's grievance is that petitioner had preferred an appeal on 28-09-2016 to the 2nd respondent challenging the demand notice dt.18-05-2015 issued by 5th respondent and that the said appeal has not been disposed of by 2nd respondent till date. 2.

Learned Government Pleader for Industries appearing for respondents stated that the 2nd respondent will decide the said appeal within two (02) months and communicate his decision to the petitioner. 3.

In view of the said submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to decide the appeal filed by petitioner on 28-09-2016 within two (02) months from the date of receipt of copy of the order and communicate his decision to the petitioner. No costs. 4.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
