HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.SUNIL CHOWDARY WRIT PETITION No.24893 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction of the respondents in finalizing the request of the petitioner to open Study Center of Distance Education by the respondents as illegal, arbitrary a n d mala fide, against the principles of natural justice and consequently direct the respondents to finalize the process of Sanction/Allotment of New Study Centers-permission to run the UG Courses as per the norms of the respondents and to enter into Memorandum of Understanding with the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for respondents-University.

3. The case of the petitioner is that he made a representation on 07.10.2014 to the second respondent to sanction Study Center in favour of the petitioner.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner requested to direct the second respondent to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 07.10.2014.

5. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the second respondent is hereby directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 07.10.2014 as early as possible preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed.
