THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.KESHAVA RAO WRIT PETITION No.12572 OF 2015 ORDER:

There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner, who is appearing as party-in-person.

The prayer sought for in the writ petition is as under: " to Issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ or direction to order an independent investigation by a Special Investigation Team into the above mentioned incident of criminal conspiracy. If such allegations are found correct, pass further consequential and necessary directions, including initiation of criminal prosecution as well as disciplinary proceedings against the Respondents found involved and also against those senior police officers at whose behest this vindictive act of atrocity was done."

During the course of hearing, the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 placed on record the letter dated 01.06.2015 addressed by the office of the Women Protection Cell, CID, Telangana State, Hyderabad, to the office of the Government Pleader. The same is placed on record. From a perusal of the said letter, it is evident that the petitioner herein has been arrayed as an accused in Crime No.76 of 2012 under Sections 420, 498-A, 406, 506 I.P.C. and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. It is also mentioned that the investigation in the said Crime was completed and a charge sheet was filed on 30.04.2013. However, after filing of the charge sheet, the petitioner as well as his wife approached this Court and filed a quash petition and accordingly, the proceedings initiated against the petitioner were quashed on 21.06.2013.

In that view of the matter, this Court is of the opinion that no further orders are required in the present writ petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. ___________________ P.KESHAVA RAO,J 27th NOVEMBER 2018.
