[order follows]

O R D E R : [ORAL] [Per the Hon'ble Sri Justice Suresh Kumar Kait] This writ petition is filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking certiorari calling for the records relating to the O.A.No. 7184 of 2015, dated 18/01/2016 whereby the learned Tribunal passed the order as under:

"When the applicant was removed from Home Guard on 23/12/2003, he could have filed appeal to the appellate authority within few days thereafter. Instead of approaching the appellate authority or higher authorities, the applicant approached the Superintendent of Police, Ananthapur and also Additional Director General of Police, Hyderabad after 12 years. The question of reinstating the applicant on humanitarian grounds does not arise after a period of 12 years of the applicant's removal from Home Guard. This original application is also not maintainable as it is filed 12 years of the applicant's removal from service as Home Guard as it is filed beyond the period of limitation of one year under Section 21 of the

Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985. This Tribunal does not find any reason to grant any relief to the applicant in this Original Application."

2. In view of the view taken by the learned Tribunal, we find no merit in this writ petition and the same is accordingly dismissed. No costs.

3. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions if any, pending in this writ petition shall stands closed.
