.RESPONDENT Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of lndia praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue a Writ Order or Orders, more in the nature of Writ of Mandamus to declare the impugned action of the respondent in not releasing and paying the retirement benefits, to the petitioner, such as, Gratuity, Commutation, E.L.' GPF'GIS' Anears etc. total amounts of Rs.7'1,42,360/- (Rupees Seventy One lakhs, Forty Two thousand Three hundred and Sixty rupees only) approved via Token Nos.2700160487, 2700160511, 2700160550, 2700160570, 2700067432, 27 WO67 1 7 9, 27 00067 1 92, 27 00067 208, 27 00067 221, 27 00067 234, 27 00067 254, 2700067280, 2700067295, 2700067312 2700067328, 27000f,7343, and 2700067360, DL.2O-O+2026 and Dt.09-04-2026 respectively, is illegal, unfair, unjust and violation of Articles 14, 21 and 300(A) of the constitution of lndia and

consequently direct the respondent to release the above said benefits together with interest @ 10 o/o PAon belated payments to the petitioner. l.A. ORDER:

Heard Sri A.Radha Krishna, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services-lll appearing for the respondent and perused the material on record. With their consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner filed the instant Writ Petition questioning the action of the respondent in not releasing the petitioner's retiral ) )

benefits, despite token numbers having already been raised by the respondent authorities for payment of the amounts payable to the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the /is raised in the present writ petition has already been adjudicated by the Division Bench of this court in w.P.No.23138 of 2025, which was disposed of uid.e order dated o3.o9 .2025 , and thus prayed to pass a similar order in the present Writ Petition also.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services-lll did not dispute the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner with regard to the disposal of w.p.No.23138 of 2o2s dated 03.09.2025 and submits that the respondent will release the amounts on a priority basis of the token numbers and prayed this Court to pass appropriate orders.

5. Having regard to the above made submissions and for the reasons alike in the order dated o3.og.2o2s passed by the Division Bench of this court in w.p.No.2313g of 2o2s, this writ )

Petition is disposed of directing the respondent to ensure that the entire amount payable to the petitioner is released as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six (6) weeks from today, tailing which, the entire arnount with regard to the retiral benefits shall carry interest at the rate of 1O%o per annum, from the date the amount fell due, till the actual date of its payment.
