Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Labour for the 2nd respondent. 2.

The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation preferred this writ petition challenging the Award dated 20.02.2004 passed by the Labour Court-II, Hyderabad, in I.D.No.115 of 2001. The employee was arrayed as 1st respondent in this writ Petition. On 24.06.2011, this Court granted permission to the learned counsel for the petitioner to take out personal notice on 1st respondent by registered post with acknowledgement due and to file proof of service, within a period of two weeks from that date. The Court further ordered that in default of service of notice, the writ petition would stand dismissed against the 1st respondent, without further reference to the Court. As no notice was served within the time granted, the Writ Petition was dismissed for default and an endorsement to that effect was made by the Deputy Registrar, on 24.08.2011. 3.

As the writ petition was dismissed against the employee, who succeeded before the Labour Court, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.
