THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.25208 of 2015 ORDER:
The case of the petitioner is that he was granted weighmen licence to carry the weighment in the fifth respondent agriculture market yard in the year 2001 under Section 7(1) of the Andhra Pradesh (Agricultural Produce & Livestock) Markets Act, 1966 (for short, the Act), and under Rule 48 of the Rules

While so, he submitted an application on 13.07.2015 to the fifth respondent and also to the second respondent for renewal of the licence under Rules 49 and 50 of the Rules framed under the Act. When the same was not considered, the present Writ Petition is filed. In view of the nature of the relief sought for in the Writ Petition and granted by this Court, the notice to the respondents is dispensed with.
Since the petitioner submitted the application to the fifth respondent on 13.07.2015 seeking renewal of his licence, the fifth respondent shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders thereon, within a period of thirty days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
