This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner/Accused under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short 'Cr.P.C.') seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.400 of 2013 on the file of XI Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate at Secunderabad which arose out of Crime No.152 of 2012 of Begumpet Police Station, Begumpet Division (North Zone). The petitioner herein is arrayed as Accused in the said C.C. The offences alleged against him are under Sections 406 and 420 of Indian Penal Code. 2.

Heard learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for the RespondentState. None appeared on behalf of the petitioner. Perused the record.

As seen from the proceeding sheet there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner/Accused on several occasions. The case was listed for dismissal on 09.02.2022, 23.02.2022 and 25.02.2022 however none appeared to prosecute their case. Thereafter when the case is listed on 30.08.2022 none appeared and this Court again

Crl.Petition No.7398 of 2013 directed to post this matter for dismissal to today i.e. on 02.09.2022. Today also though the case is posted for dismissal none appeared for the petitioner. As seen from the proceedings the petitioner is not evincing any interest in prosecuting the matter diligently. 4.
