When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the matter has been settled before Lok Adalath and the Criminal Petition has become infructuous as the cause in the criminal petition does not survive for further adjudication.

Recording the said submission, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous.

As a sequel thereto, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition, shall stand closed.
