THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION NO.36563 OF 2014 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India challenging the inaction of the respondents 2 and 3 in taking appropriate action in registering the complaints filed by the petitioner, dated 05-09-2014 and 07-07-2014.

Today when the matter is called, learned Government Pleader on the basis of written instructions submits that a preliminary enquiry was conducted after receipt of the complaints and it was noticed that there was a serious dispute with regard to ingress and egress over the foot path, which is passing through the respondents lands. Police adviced the parties to approach the civil Court for settlement of the dispute. 3.

Since the matter relates to right of ingress and egress over the foot path, the police cannot interfere with the same and it is open to the petitioner to take appropriate proceedings in accordance with law.

Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
