THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M. SEETHARAMA MURTI WRIT PETITION No.39866 of 2014 ORDER:
This writ petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed by the petitioners complaining against the inaction of the second respondent in levying non-agricultural land assessment tax and property tax to the holdings of the petitioners, which are subject matter of the writ petition.

At the hearing, learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the grievance of the petitioners would be redressed and ends of justice would be met if the writ petition is disposed of giving a direction to the second respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders, in strict accordance with the procedure established by law, on the applications/representations, dated 06.12.2014, which are duly acknowledged by the second respondent's office.

Sri A.Panduranga Rao, learned Standing Counsel for the second respondent-Municipality, endorses the said submission. 4.
Recording the submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders, in strict accordance with the procedure established by law, on the applications/representations, dated 06.12.2014, of the petitioners. It is made clear that the necessary exercise in this regard shall be completed as expeditiously as possible and preferably within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
