This court made the following :

THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.2677 of 2016 ORDER :

Petitioner was a Field Assistant. Disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner ended in order of removal from service vide proceedings of the Project Officer, ITDA/Additional District Programme Coordinator dated 08.07.2015. Against the said order, right of appeal is provided. Petitioner preferred appeal to the Commissioner, Panchayat Raj & Rural Development (R & D), Hyderabad on 07.09.2015. Alleging that the said appeal is yet to be disposed of, this writ petition is filed.

2. Since the petitioner has already availed the remedy of appeal and the same is pending, this Court is not inclined to entertain the writ petition and adjudicate the matter on merits.

Having regard to the fact that appeal is pending, without expressing any opinion on merits, the writ petition is disposed of directing the Commissioner, A.P. Rural Development, Huda Hermitage Office Complex, Saifabad, Hyderabad (4th respondent) to pass orders on the appeal filed by the petitioner on 07.09.2015, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
