THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M. SEETHARAMA MURTI WRIT PETITION No.14992 of 2018 ORDER:

This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed by the petitioners complaining inter alia that the third respondent is not investigating into the case in Crime No.132 of 2013, registered, on 22.02.2013, and pending on the file of the Kancharapalem Police Station, Visakhapatnam District. 2.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Home (A.P.) appearing for the respondents. Perused the material record.

At the hearing, learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that if a direction is given to the Police Officer concerned to expedite the investigation and file the final report, either way, by following the procedure established by law, the grievance of the petitioners stands redressed.

Learned Government Pleader for Home endorses the said submission.

Having regard to the facts and submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Station House Officer, Kancharapalem Police Station, Visakhapatnam District, the third respondent herein, to expedite the investigation into the afore-stated crime and file a final report, either way, in strict accordance with the procedure established by law.
