HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE V. RAMASUBRAMANIAN AND HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. SHANKAR NARAYANA WRIT PETITION No.15165 OF 2009 ORDER: (Per Hon'ble Sri Justice V. Ramasubramanian) The present writ petition is filed by an organization known as Minorities Rights Protection Committee, by way of a Public Interest Litigation seeking a declaration that inaction on the part of the respondents in not providing a transparent, non-exploitative and non-discriminatory procedure for admission into Unaided Minority medical and Dental Colleges in the State of Andhra Pradesh is illegal and for a consequential direction to set aside the Government Order, dated 10-07-2006.

2. Heard Sri K.S. Murthy, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri T. Nageswara Rao, learned counsel appearing for respondent No.2 - NTR University of Health Sciences, and Sri S.Sriram, learned counsel appearing for respondent No.4 - Shadan Institute of Medical Sciences.

3. The grievance of the petitioner, in brief, is that they earlier came up with the writ petition in W.P. No.15163 of 2006, praying for a direction to the respondents to provide a Centralized Single Window Admission Process for admission into professional

medical courses in unaided minority colleges. The said writ petition along with a batch of cases was disposed of by a Division Bench of this Court by an order, dated 3107-2007. By the said order, this Court issued certain directions in the penultimate paragraph of its order. But, according to the petitioner, those directions were not incorporated.

4. However, today it is conceded by the learned counsel for the petitioner that by a latest Government Order, most of the directions issued by the Court have already been incorporated. Therefore, at least to a great extent, the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed. It is needless to say that if there are still certain areas which remained uncovered, it will always be open to the petitioner to come up with a writ petition. No order as to costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed. __________________________ V.
