This writ petition is being disposed of at the admission stage with the consent of learned counsel for the respective parties.
This writ petition is filed seeking the following relief: ".... to issue an order direction or writ more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the Respondents in not considering the case ofthe Petitioners daughter in pursuance ol Circular P.D.No.2/2017 dated 21.02.2017 and not paying the service benefits rendered by the petitioner husband as illegal arbitrary and unjust and consequently direct the respondents consider the case of the Petitioners daughter for appointment to the post of RTC Constable Conductor or any other suitable post and to pay the service benefits rendered by the petitioner husband and pass such order or orders ......".
Heard Sri G. Rajesh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Sri B. May,ur Reddy, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents - TSRTC.
It has been contended by the petitioner that her husband was appointed as a Driver in the respondent - Corporation on 02.08.1996. After expiry of her husband on 17,09.2011, she has submitted an application in the year 2011 itself seeking employment to her daughter on
AKS.J w P.No.20165 o12020 compassionate grounds. But, the respondents have not considered the application of the petitioner for appointment on compassionate grounds. Thereafter, the petitioner made series of representations, the latest representation being 04.O3.2020, to the respondents seeking appointment on compassionate grounds, but the respondents have not passed any orders on the said representations.
Learned counsel for the petitioner, therefore, contends that appropriate orders be passed directing the respondents to consider the latest representation submitted by the petitioner on 04.03.2020 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with 1aw.
Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents had contended that since the representation dated 04.03.2020 of the petitioner 1S pending with the respondents, the respondents would consider the same and pass appropriate orders in accordance with 1aw. This Court, having considered the rival submissions made by the learned counsel for the respective parties, is of the considered view that this writ petition can be disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 04.03.2020 of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a reasonable period of time, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
