THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM CONTEMPT CASE NO.1505 of 2015 ORDER:

This contempt case is filed alleging violation of the orders dated 12.03.2015 passed in W.P.No.6225 of 2015.

The grievance of the petitioner in the above writ petition was that the 5th respondent was granted patta in violation of the relevant G.Os wherein granting of pattas in water bodies was prohibited. The writ petition came to be disposed of with a direction to the respondents to take into consideration all the relevant G.Os issued by the Government from time to time with respect to protection of water bodies apart from the guidelines enumerated by the Supreme Court, while considering the representation made by the petitioners.

To day, learned counsel for the petitioners informed that the 2nd respondent herein has passed orders dated 14.08.2015.

In that view of the matter the grievance of the petitioner in this contempt case stands redressed.

Accordingly, the Contempt Case is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the order dated 14.08.2015 passed by the 2nd respondent on merits, if they are otherwise aggrieved.
