The grievance of the petitioner was that the revenue authorities failed to undertake survey and demarcation operations in relation to the land admeasuring Acs.2.32 guntas in Survey No.87 of Nizampet Village, Quthbullapur Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, despite his having made an online application as long back as on 25.01.2014 along with the requisite fee.

Perusal of the record reflects that the authorities undertook to do the needful within 45 working days.

Sri Rama Rao Vudataneni, learned counsel for the petitioner, would inform this Court that no survey operations have been undertaken by the revenue authorities even as on date.

It is not open to the revenue authorities to accept the fee payable for a survey upon submission of an application in that regard in the prescribed format and remain inactive thereon. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of directing the respondents to undertake survey and demarcation operations of the subject land as per the online application made by the petitioner on 25.01.2014 and complete the exercise expeditiously and in any event, not later than eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
