HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.17531 of 2019 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of Mandamus declaring the action of respondent Nos.2 to 4 in not issuing e-pattadar pass books and title deeds in respect of the petitioners' land admeasuring Acs.2.15 guntas in Survey No.281 of Mellacheruvu Village and Mandal, Suryapet District, in spite of their written representation, dated 31.5.2019, as illegal and arbitrary.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

The grievance of the petitioners is that despite their representation, dated 31.05.2019, the Tahsildar, Mellacheruvu Village and Mandal, Suryapet District, is not issuing them e-pattadar pass books which would enable them to get the benefits under the Government's Rythubandhu scheme.

Perusal of the record reflects that the petitioners were issued regular pattadar pass books under the provisions of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971, in respect of the subject land. In view of the above, the Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of directing that the Tahsildar, Mellacheruvu Village and Mandal, Suryapet District, to take appropriate action upon the petitioners' representation, dated 31.5.2019, expeditiously, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Pending Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
